About

The Visitors Committee of the Visual Arts Department brings a wide range of guest speakers to the UCSD campus, including studio artists, film and video makers, new media artists, writers, critics, and performers. Past presentations have featured lectures, artists' talks, symposia, conferences, media screenings, studio visits and performances. Visitor's Committee events are divided into three programming strands: a series of speakers scheduled at regular intervals during the school year; a single special event, which may take the form of a keynote address or seminar; and an event proposed and run by the MFA student body.
